Questions
How much smaller do files get?
Often 30 to 70 percent for files saved from design tools, which carry extra metadata and long numbers.
Will the icon look different?
Not at the default precision. If a detailed drawing changes, raise the precision to 3 or 4.
What does it remove?
Comments, editor metadata, hidden elements, unused definitions and default values. It also shortens path data and colors.
Which optimizer does it use?
SVGO, the standard open-source SVG optimizer, running in your browser. Your files are not uploaded.
